IoT smart metering solutions allow you to monitor, manage and control water usage, leakages, flow rates, flush volumes, pressure and temperature in real time.

Take real control of your water usage.

Our smart water management solutions, also known as Intelligent Water Management solutions, using internet of things (IoT) are smart metering devices can help companies and tenants to keep an eye on their water consumption patterns remotely, across all areas of their properties.
Using our bespoke app, data is collected and stored in real-time to provide advanced analysis of usage. It will also provide water performance reports and monitor information continuously throughout the day. In the event of an emergency, the app can also detect leaks or blockages and automatically shut off water supply if necessary, to prevent further damage.

How Smart Water Management Works

Real Time Sensors & Valves

Sensors and meters are used to collect data on water flow. Only one water meter is needed to monitor the whole supply but individual meters can be used to monitor individual floors, areas or devices. By connecting an electric shutoff valve, the system is then capable of turning off the supply and preventing water damage and unnecessary wastage.

Wireless Communication

Real-time communication through WiFi or 3G to gather data from sensors automatically and continuously. Two-way communication means the flow of water can be controlled using an electric shutoff valve, either remotely by the user or automatically if a leak is detected.

Advanced Data Processing

Real-time data analytics are used to detect anomalies and diagnose faults. Water disaggregation techniques are used to give the user more detailed information on usage. Dynamic web dashboards are used to allow users to monitor their water usage in real time. Email/SMS/mobile notifications allow the user to be notified when leaks occur.

Frequently Asked Questions?

What is smart water management?
Smart water management allows homes and businesses to take control of their water usage. Using IoT smart metering, users are able to monitor, manage and control water consumption. Smart water management solutions using IoT, are smart metering devices that help companies and tenants review their water use patterns remotely, across all areas of their properties. Data is collected and stored via an app, giving advanced analysis of water use in real-time. With data on everything from flush volumes and flow rates to water pressure and leaks, performance reports are delivered throughout the day.
What are the components of smart water management?
Smart water management consists of several components, which use IoT, and allow everyone from large companies to small households, to monitor and control water consumption. Three components – intelligent equipment, smart networks and digital solutions – are connected and together, they allow the user to see what exactly is happening within their system(s).
What is the importance of smart water management?
We can’t manage what we don’t measure. Smart water management offers continuous monitoring of water consumption, to ensure the most effective way to reduce water usage and save money. Using IoT, smart water management solutions meter water consumption in real time allowing you to control waste. By monitoring flow rates, detecting leaks, flush volumes, pressure and temperature, data is collected and analysed, and sent directly to the user, allowing management and control of water use from anywhere in the world.
How is IoT used in water management?
IoT in water management allows the smart monitoring of the water we use. By seeing exactly how it is being used and where, in real-time, users are guaranteed the most effective, continuous measurement of their water use and as a result, access to effective water saving. IoT smart metering connects sensors and valves, wireless communication, and advanced data processing. It ensures flow rates are monitored, leaks are detected, and pressure and temperatures are regulated. Data on all of these elements is collected and analysed, and immediately shared with you giving you total control over the management of your water use.
What is smart water in IoT?
IoT (Internet of Things) technology is used in smart water systems to monitor and measure water quality, preserve water supplies, and enable communities to operate effectively.
